Puchheim near Munich, April 15, 2020 – The Bavarian hydrogen fuel cell specialist Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH’s (www.proton-motor.de) production facility remains fully operational in spite of governmental restrictions that have been in place since mid-March:

„So far, we have not had a single case amongst the staff related to the virus pandemic. Therefore, our plans for growth and development continue to be implemented during the Corona-crisis, with the safety of every employee being the top priority.“,Manfred Limbrunner, Board Member and Director of Sales & Marketing reports. This means a large part of administration and development work is being continued smoothly from home offices. Production and test bench operations will be continued, so that current orders can be produced and delivered.

This includes processing the cooperation agreement with APEX Energy Teterow GmbH. The Rostock-based company plans to open a new grid-connected hydrogen power plant in Rostock-Laage on 12th June 2020, based on the container-integrated 100 kW fuel cell system from Proton Motor. As of 1st April, three additional employees were recruited to extend Proton Motor´s strategy, including the expansion of operational processes. Furthermore, recruitment is ongoing for vacant positions in the areas of production, sales and engineering. It was only at the beginning of March, that the feature „Wasserstoff – Element der Zukunft” on the TV-station PHOENIX reported on the added value potential „Made in Germany“ of emission-free energy solutions from Puchheim: https://www.phoenix.de/sendungen/ereignisse/phoenix-plus/wasserstoff—element-der-zukunft-a1524615.html?ref=suche as well as https://www.youtube.com/user/phoenix/search?query=Proton+Motor
