The Austrian Ministry of Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology has set up a special Innovation Platform to network public clients with solutions and suppliers on specific topics during market explorations. In the current challenge "Climate-friendly and low-emission government boats for the Danube", the maritime HyShip system from Proton Motor as drive component for zero-emission navigation has been honoured as a winning solution!

From submissions from numerous very competent companies with many years of experience in shipbuilding and beyond, the jurors of the Innovation Challenge have selected four submissions for in-depth market discussions in addition to Proton Motor. The innovation dialogue on the next qualification level with those project responsibles will take place on 21 April.

The emission-free PM hydrogen fuel cell products have already been registered for the "Bavarian Energy Award", "German Renewables Award" and for the competition of the "Hessian State Prize" this year. In 2021, the HyRange® Extender won the busplaner Sustainability Award of the renowned automotive publishing house HUSS in the mobility category "Hydrogen Bus".
