The listed London-based parent company of the Bavarian operating technology subsidiary "Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH" has announced the audited results for the financial year ended 31 December 2021 in mid-June. Proton Motor Power Systems plc, which issues the green energy share PPS (WKN: A3DAJ9 / ISIN: GB00BP83GZ24) on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), publishes the total order intake of GBP 2,800k with 49 percent distribution in the stationary segment. The follow-up orders of GKN Hydrogen for the Proton Motor system HyModule® S8 are effective here. The new HyShelter® 240 fuel cell power plant for Shell New Energies in the network of the international energy group is also an example of successful off-grid power supply. Sales in 2021 were GBP 2,771k (2020: GBP 1,893k), representing an annual increase of 46 percent.

With regard to the automotive sector, the stock news (RNS) refers to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Electra Commercial Vehicles Limited. Furthermore, E-Trucks Europe b.v. has placed an order for seven HyRange® 43 systems in 2021. In co-operation with Torqeedo GmbH, Proton Motor is currently developing the high-voltage hybrid propulsion system "Ma-Hy-Hy" (Marine-Hybrid-Hydrogen) with battery and hydrogen fuel cell.

For 100 % zero-emission performance on the open sea, Proton Motor produced the HyShip® 72 propulsion solution for delivery at the beginning of 2022 to the largest European shipbuilding group Fincantieri S.p.A. The world innovation of the hydrogen-powered MG 11 Hydrogen rail milling train, for which the HyRail® fuel cell system with 214 kW installed power was manufactured by Proton Motor engineering, has recently been presented to the public for the first time with great success.
